Tour Description:
The Rajasthan Tour is 14 Nights & 15 Days programme gives you the best of the Cultural / Traditional view of India. The tour starts from Delhi – India’s capital and a major gateway to the country. After a tour of Delhi, you're off to a region of brilliantly painted villages to stay at a former Rajput palace in the colourful market town of Nawalgarh. A visit to the Camel Corps in Bikaner prepares you for your own camel safari. Departing from the 12th-century caravan city of Jaisalmer, you explore the Thar Desert, a starkly beautiful wilderness. After exploring Jodphur's massive fortress, you're driven south to the "City of Dreams": Udaipur, where the island palace seems to float on a beautiful blue lake and then it's off to the marvellous "pink city" of Jaipur, where you see mosques, bazaars and the Moghul Palace of Amber.

ITINERARY DETAILS:

Day 1 : ARRIVAL DELHI
Upon arrival in Delhi, our Executive will meet you at the Airport followed by transfer to hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2 : IN DELHI
Sightseeing of New Delhi visiting Humanyun’s Tomb, Jantar Mantar, Rajpath, Safdarjung Tomb, The Qutab Minar, Embassy Area (Diplomatic Enclave), Government Buildings, Birla (Laxmi Narayan) Temple, Connaught Place etc. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 3 : DELHI – SHEKHAWATI BY ROAD 260 KMS / 7 HRS
Morning drive to Nawalgarh (Shekhawati region). On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon Village tour of Shekhavati reigion - Painted Havelies. You can wander through the streets where mansions of rich merchants are adorned with elaborate frescoes. Overnight in Nawalgarh.

Day 4 : NAWALGARH – BIKANER BY ROAD 200 KMS / 5 HRS
Morning drive to Bikaner. On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon you would be taking the city tour of Bikaner visiting Junagarh Fort, Old Town & Temples etc. Overnight in Bikaner.

Day 5 : BIKANER – JAISALMER BY ROAD 333 KMS / 8 HRS
Morning drive to Jaisalmer. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight in Jaisalmer.

Day 6 : IN JAISALMER
Full day sightseeing of Jaisalmer visiting Jaisalmer Fort, Museum of Folklore & Havelis - Patwon ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli, Nathmal ki Haveli, Gadi Sagar Lake & Tank, Chhatriyan (Best sunset point) etc. Overnight in Jaisalmer.

Day 7 : IN JAISALMER
Morning leave for Sand Dunes (Camel Safari). Overnight in Tents.

Day 8 : JAISALMER – JODHPUR BY ROAD 308 KMS / 7 HRS
After Breakfast return to Jaisalmer. Drive to Jodhpur. On arrival check in to hotel.

Day 9 : IN JODHPUR
Morning city tour visiting Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Musem (Umaid Bhawan Palace). Overnight in Jodhpur. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight in Jodhpur.

Day 10 : JODHOUR – UDAIPUR BY ROAD 266 KMS / 7 HRS
Morning drive to Udaipur the beautiful city of Lakes surrounded by mountains on three sides, enroute visiting Ranakpur Jain Temples & Kumalgarh fort, Palace via wildlife Sanctuary. On arrival in Udaipur transfer to hotel. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 11 : IN UDAIPUR
Sightseeing of Udaipur visiting City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon-ki-Bari, Fateh Sagar Lake, Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandir etc. EVE OPTIONAL: Boat ride in lake Pichola where you visit the Jag Mandir Island with the summer Palace OR Bike Tour. Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 12 : UDAIPUR – JAIPUR BY ROAD 405 KMS / 9 HRS
Morning drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in to hotel. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 13 : IN JAIPUR
Morning excursion to Amber Fort for an elephant ride to the glorious hilltop fortress and the Kali Temple with its solid-silver doors. The afternoon tour of Jaipur will combine the City Palace, the Observatory, the Hawa Mahal and culminate in a unique Rajasthani dinner. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 14 : JAIPUR – DELHI BY ROAD 260 KMS / 5 HRS
Morning drive to Delhi. On arrival check in to hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 15 : DEPARTURE DELHI
A full day tour of Delhi will comprise the Red Fort, Jama Masjid mosque, Raj Ghat (where Gandhi was cremated), the Ashoka Pillar and the mile long Chandni Chowk Bazaar. After lunch, drive through New Delhi, a city designed and built by the British in the 1920s. Historically significant sights include India Gate, the President's House, Emperor Humayun's Tomb and the Qutab Minar. Evening farewell dinner followed by a transfer to the airport for your international flight home.
