Periyar is best known for its elephants. Most of the animals here can be seen along the banks of the lake through clumps of dead trees. Wild Elephants in herds make an unforgettable sight and Periyar is undoubtedly the best place in India to watch them.

ITINERARY DETAILS:

Day 1 : Kochi(cochin)
Arrive Cochin. Meet and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : Transfer from Kochi to PERIYAR
Depart for Periyar(190kms). Arrive Periyar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Periyar
Morning boat safari to view wildlife. Afternoon plantation visits to the high hills and the low valleys. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4 : Transfer from Periyar to KOCHI
Depart for Cochin by car. Arrive Cochin and transfer to airport for flight back to home.
