animal specific to it.
If North India is known
for the Hangul or the Kashmiri stag and other Himalayan
exotic wildlife, then South India is known for its
dense population of wild elephants. The Western part
of India is known for the Gir Elephants, while the
nesting habitats of the Olive Ridley Marine Turtles
