The Himalayas are not just famous for their important
peaks. They are well known for their population of
wild animals and Flora too. The different altitudes
throughout the range lead to a diverse range of wildlife
flourishing in them. The Corbett National Park at
the foot of the Himalayas has a sizable population
of Tigers as well as birds. Hangul – the Kashmiri
Stag, the Snow Leopard and the Snow Cock are some
of the most important wildlife found here.
